Texts and phone calls can only go so far
Nothing can compare to your gentle touch
To embrace you fully just as you are
I want you by my side, is that too much?
It sucks that we live so far away
I hate that we gotta deal with distance
My plans to see you soon are underway
I won’t give up on us, I’m persistent
I won’t rest until we end up together
I’ll fight for you, I refuse to surrender
We’ll look back at this phase and remember
What we went through that made us stronger & better
