Folks want others to be authentic
Yet they try to put out others' light
So which is it? Be realistic
That limited thinking can't be right
They say, "Don't wear your heart on your sleeve
Because weakness is what they'll perceive"
How do you expect me to be real
If I can't show how I truly feel?
You may not like it, neither do I
I can't help it, even if I try
No doubt, what you see is what you get
And that's something you can't forget
