Some phases seemed overwhelming and I felt down
Yet things fell into place and worked out somehow
I learned to move ahead and push past the pain
I turned it around and used it for my gain
I have a million reasons to be resentful
But a trillion reasons to be very grateful
No point in poisoning my heart with bitterness
That prevents me from pursuing my happiness
